Supply Chain Management: Building an Effective Network

The outline provides a detailed outline of the paper topic and flow. The textbook is also listed in the reference section. It must be used. Individual Essay Assignment Each Learner will submit a typed 6-8-page Essay (not including front and back matter or tables/charts) on any selected topic. Your objective will be to pick a topic that interests you related to the textbook; research information on the topic and then write the results of your findings in Microsoft word. The topic must be pre-approved by the Instructor NLT Week 3. The final file will be named “MGT5100_Final _Title of Essay_Your Name_with a Similarity Report rating of 20% or less” and uploaded to the Assignments Thread. Additionally, the Student Code of Academic Integrity Form will be uploaded as a separate document in the Assignments Forum. More than a 20% Similarity Rating will be rejected with zero points awarded. No essays will be graded or received without this form. Learners are encouraged to submit his or her Essay, in advance, to the assignments tab with a file named “MGT5100_Test _Title of Essay_Your Name” to evaluate the quality of the Essay before your final submission. See the Rubric in the Assignments Forum for the evaluation criteria. Format/Writing Style/References: – Learner’s name and title of the essay should appear at the beginning of the essay, preferably on the title page. – Double space using 12-point Times New Roman font with 1-inch margins (sides, top, and bottom), black ink, and two spaces after the period. Must have a stand-alone reference page. – All essays will use APA format (in Microsoft Word) with correctly structured citations and a reference section (which is not a part of the page count). – All essays will cite AT LEAST one reference from the textbook, one reference from an academic peer-reviewed journal, and one reference from a current event. – Wikipedia sources are not allowed under any circumstances. – Essays that are either less than the 6-page count or more than the 8-page count will have a percentage deducted. Essays that are either less or more than the 6-8 page count will have a percentage deducted. For example, if the Learner submits a 4-page Essay, he or she will be penalized 32 pts before the start. Instead of the Essay being worth a total of 100 pts, the Essay is only worth 68 points, and if an additionally 20 pts are deducted for grammar, then the final grade is 48 pts.
